Climate-proofing of buildings

Energy auditing determines the building’s energy performance before its renovation.The key component of any energy audit is climate data.Outdoor temperatures are used to assess the performance of heating systems.Solar radiation is used to assess the performance of photovoltaic systems.Using MeteoInsight, these data no longer need to come from distant weather stations and be manually post-processed.

EO4CS

After decades of interventions in the cocoa sector and implementation of voluntary sustainability standards, the environmental impacts of cocoa production are still present. Supposedly sustainably produced cocoa is mislabelled and not produced according to sustainability standards. The EO4CS project aims at preventing food fraud of cacao by supporting the certification process for labels of sustainability with objective satellite-based earth observation information.

Colibri

Colibri is a telemedicine service relying on satellite broadband communication to efficiently support healthcare services in white areas in terms of ground connectivity, combining fix telemedicine relays installed in villages, a vehicle equipped with medical equipment called “Consultobus” and home appliances for isolated people.

AGROMS

AGROMS aims to identify crop types among major ones, at the very beginning seed season, then to provide a forecast of the harvest size, by the mid-season, far before the actual harvest, with the best accuracy.  All by using Artificial Intelligence.

mylo

mylo is end-to-end project management software for the construction industry.  It connects every human resource (regardless of role) via a centralised system of work that focuses on the harvesting and measurement of granular project data.  The data informs big-picture decision making to reduce risk and consequent cost. 

AMOR

Status date: 02 September 2021

AMOR aims to provide Public Institutions and Visitors with services dedicated to the Cultural Heritage domain, respectively for Safeguard and Fruition aspects.Safeguard services (derived by satellite EO, UAV systems and GPR technologies) will contribute to provide information about the state of conservation of ancient monuments.Fruition services (supported by 5G connection) will offer Mixed Reality experiences directly available on personal devices, via a dedicated mobile APP.

WAMcam

WAMCam is an innovative solution integrating satellite communication and machine learning technologies to radically improve wildlife research and conservation. Researchers and conservationists in remote regions can deploy AI-enabled cameras to monitor animal traps, study areas and fight poaching. Receiving prompt notifications by the cameras revolutionizes the effectiveness of these groups of users.

EOLO

EOLO aims to provide the corn growers an agritech cloud-based platform which allows to save water and energy by predicting the optimal water needs, monitor crop health through the use of vegetational indexes and control the irrigation system remotely. These features are implemented by leveraging both EO and on-ground sensors data and by fusing them with machine learning algorithms.

This project is a technical, economic and commercial feasibility assessment into an adaptive Load Reduction Device (LRD) for Floating Offshore Wind (FLOW) mooring systems that can significantly reduce Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).
